  • Job Aids

  • Instruction Manuals

  • User Guides

  • Articles

  • Tech Tips

I am highly skilled at converting technical or complex information and processes into documents and materials that make it easy for the user to understand and use.

I have a special ability for breaking down information and processes into easy-to-use materials that are clear and accurate to build trust and brand loyalty.

Excellence Lives Here!

Instructional Design

Bringing It Home for Users

Decades of experience writing and training people have honed my skill for writing training material.

I am extremely cheerful and treat all with respect and courtesy, which enables me to work with a wide variety of personalities and work styles—in person and remotely.

From executives to SMEs, I excel at communicating with people to get to the core of what really matters to training stakeholders.

I create a project charter or blueprint for approval then get to work assembling my Team.

After Project Kickoff comes a Design Meeting, unique to my process, that helps the Team members quickly and easily discover the required components and logical sequence for a successful training experience.

Project Management of the instructional design process is critical to keeping the Project Task List and Team members engaged and motivated to meet project timelines for instructional verbiage.

My job is to take their verbiage and bring it to life in engaging, logical, accurate and easy to use documentation and materials.

Throughout my career I have designed and created dozens of corporate and internal training classes—instructor-led, virtual and e-learning—and materials.

At Orchard Software Corporation I served as Instructional Designer, Training Specialist and Subject Matter Expert.

All corporate customer training classes I designed and managed for Orchard Software Corporation were P.A.C.E. accredited and I was the P.A.C.E. Administrator, managing the processes of assignment of credit hours to all classes and reporting of credits for eligible participants.

P.A.C.E.®

Professional Acknowledgment for Continuing Education is an administrative system serving as the quality assurance mechanism for continuing education programs offered to clinical laboratory professionals.

P.A.C.E.® is of benefit to continuing education providers and the laboratory professionals who participate in the programs they provide. Participants in P.A.C.E.®-approved educational sessions have confidence in the quality of the program. P.A.C.E.® continuing education contact hours satisfy continuing education requirements for federal regulations, state licensure, certification agencies, and employers.

Educational programs may be in a number of different formats — from large, multiple-day annual meetings to self-instructional material on CDs, journal articles, or websites.

Testimonials

andrew gilmore.jpg

It's rare that you come across someone who is able to fill so many roles like Daphne. She is able to expertly fill the role of both Lead Trainer for our Harvest and Microbiology classes but also as Senior Instructional Designer creating classes for our new software platforms. Daphne's ability to juggle multiple assignments was unlike any I'd seen before and made a dramatic difference in the productivity level of our department. Daphne would be an asset to any team.
